Imperial German naval jack (Kriegsschiffgösch)

⚓ Imperial German naval jack (Kriegsschiffgösch), FG-055.
Wool bunting example measuring 70 × 100 cm, with crown-over-W acceptance and “1” inspector stamp. Represents the 1903 enlarged-cross pattern used by the Kaiserliche Marine until 1918.

The flag uses the post-1903 Iron Cross proportions introduced to improve long-range recognition at sea. Construction details — wool panels, machine stitching, reinforced header, and rope loop — are consistent with Imperial naval production. The absence of a continuous white outline rules out the 1933 Alter-Art revival.
