British WWII White Ensign

.
FG‑035 is a rare World War II-era British White Ensign, measuring approx. 90 × 180 cm. Constructed from printed wool bunting with a classic horizontal ribbed weave, it features a cotton hoist with brass grommets and lacing hook. No label is present, but the finish and size are consistent with Royal Navy shore station flags used between 1942–44. A nearly identical ensign is archived by IWM, said to have been hoisted in Algiers and again during D‑Day operations.
