Kriegsmarine Gösch, 80 × 135 cm

FG-043 Gösch 80×135 cm German Naval Jack

🇩🇪 Kriegsmarine Gösch 80 × 135 cm — Textildruck Arlt, Schönheiderhammer. Typical U-boat/small-craft jack with rare red dye bleed in the printed roundel.

This German naval jack was flown at the bow jackstaff in port or at anchor, and struck when underway. The 80 × 135 cm size corresponds to U-boats and light units such as patrol boats, minesweepers and torpedo craft. Larger ships carried proportionally bigger jacks.

Maker label: Textildruck Arlt, Schönheiderhammer (Oskar & Kurt Arlt). A mid-sized Saxon flag printer; their naval flags are scarcer than Bonner or Summa output. This example shows the expected hoist stamp “Gösch 80×135” with the woven factory tag. Multi-piece cotton bunting, printed roundel, reinforced fly, and rope lanyard intact.
