Heavy, coarse, and pre-Nazi – Weimar-era tricolour

🇩🇪 Heavy, coarse, and pre-Nazi – Weimar-era tricolour?
.

This isn’t a Nazi-era flag. FG-032 is something else entirely – a 150×250 cm German Empire tricolour in thick wool, with sewn rope hoist and no visible factory marks. The kind of flag that outlasted the empire but refused to leave the pole.

Likely produced in the 1920s, this flag bridges imperial nostalgia and Weimar resistance. It has all the right age markers – coarse textile, no NS iconography, and a pencilled size in the hoist. An example of conservative civilian display during volatile times.
