Civil-used German Empire flag from the 1930s?

.
This German tricolour isn’t imperial... at least not entirely. Likely produced in the late 1930s, it mixes old symbolism with new intentions.
Constructed in cotton with industrial stitching, the flag matches dimensions close to 2:3. While originally representing the German Empire (1871–1918), this one was likely used in a civil context during the Nazi period – a visual throwback for ideological effect.
