Early North Vietnamese flag with yellow star

.
This early North Vietnamese flag features a hand-appliquéd yellow star on coarse red cotton. The sewing is irregular, with visible manual feed and no reinforcements—hallmarks of local civilian production during the early war years.
Measuring approx. 80×125 cm, the flag lacks factory markings or grommets. It was likely never issued for combat use but served in a symbolic or educational capacity. Both sides of the fabric show unique characteristics: solid yellow front and red-outlined star reverse.
