Weimar Reichskriegsflagge – Bootsflg. 95 × 157 (shortened)

🇩🇪 War ensign from the Weimar Republic – marked 95 × 157 and visibly shortened.
This original Reichskriegsflagge from the Weimar Republic era is marked “Bootsflg. 95 × 157” on the hoist and shows clear signs of field shortening on the fly end. The reduction in length is likely a period modification for continued naval use.
Made of wool bunting with strong contrast stitching, this ensign reflects the transitional nature of German naval identity during the interwar years. Its preservation and markings provide rare insight into small-boat standards of the time.
