Reichskriegsflagge – Kriegsmarine Version (50 × 85 cm)
🇩🇪 Found in Sønderborg just after the German surrender – a small Kriegsmarine naval flag with full markings.
This original Reichskriegsflagge measures 50 × 85 cm and was used by the German Kriegsmarine during WWII. It bears clear printed markings and shows typical construction for naval ensigns of the period.
The flag was recovered in the Danish town of Sønderborg in May 1945, shortly after the surrender of German forces. According to provenance, it had been left behind in a marine-related building near the harbor area.
