A textbook example of a large naval Reichskriegsflagge, measuring 100 × 170 cm. This size was used across a range of Kriegsmarine vessels, typically for prominent display on deck or stern. The flag is made from heavy wool bunting with reinforced stitching and original rope hoist.
The construction and proportions match documented naval flags from the late 1930s to early 1940s. Flags of this type are rarely found in such clean condition.
