Imperial German "Sturm" Flag
🇩🇪 Imperial German "Sturm" Flag – a large wool version in pristine condition. Click to explore the details!
This is one of the finest Imperial German flags in my collection – a true *Sturmflagge* from the Kaiserzeit. It's made from high-quality wool, perfectly preserved, with stitched details and correct proportions. These large ceremonial flags were typically used for parades, rallies, or mass display during the pre-WWI era.
This example was likely produced in the early 1900s (circa 1903–1914) and retains all the typical characteristics of official German war and national flags of the time: bold horizontal tricolor layout, strong field stitching, and vibrant colors. The sheer size makes it stand out – a true beast of a flag.
