Converted Reichskriegsflagge – Transitional Model (‘alter Art’)

🇩🇪 Reichskriegsflagge – transitional variant with converted cross and NS-era additions.
Originally issued as a Weimar naval ensign, this flag was later modified during the early Nazi era to match the new Reichskriegsflagge design. A white band was sewn around the cross, and the republican canton was overlaid. These hybrids saw limited use between 1933 and 1935 before standardisation.
